All the Witnesses for the Plaintiff were examined and proved the Loss of the Ship Hinchingbrooke and of the goods on board and the Value of the Goods. The Pilot also proved that the return of the Ship up the River which seem’d to have been consider’d by the Under Writers at Madras a Deviation, was necessary for the Preservation of the Ship, or at least was Prudent and in that return
