1787. 3 Sittings. [Tuesday] July 24
Grenades was his Relation.
Several Witnesses for the Plaintiff were examined, and some of them after Sir Robert Chambers was gone out of Court, which he did earlier than usual, because he was invited to dine at Earl Cornwallis’s, who is said to set out on Saturday next to view all the Military Stations in Oude, and to go to Lucknow: more Witnesses for the Plaintiff remain’d to be Examined, and therefore the Cause was Adjourn’d.
