that the Plfs were possessed, on the 6 Oct: 1787, of the goods therein mentioned, (which are very numerous) “all [which] sd goods & Chattels were of the value of S. R: 60,000”, and that they casually lost the same, that they afterwards came by finding to the hands of the Deft, who nevertheless knowing them to be the goods of Plfs, hath not (altho’ often required) delivered the sd goods to the Plf, but afterwards, on the 3d of Oct: 1787, converted & disposed thereof to his own use
