Several common motions which were all finish’d before Sir Robert Chambers came. Two of the Causes I had also heard before he came, which had nothing remarkable in them. The first was
Gunganarain Doss,
Surviving Executor of &c
v
Gopaul Bustabund.
An Action on the balance of an Account sign’d by the Defendant in the books of the Testator, acknowledging a Balance of 1939 Rupees, 5 annas, and 18 Gundas. With the Interest from that time, at the rate of Ten per Cent: which I determined ought to be paid on this settled account, the sum due was above 3200 Rupees.
Dammages . . . 3200 Rupees, and Costs.
The second Cause was,
Durpnarain Baboo
v
James Ogden.
