1779. 4 Term. [Wednesday] Nov. 10.

Judgment for the Penalty.
Above 54,000 Rupees.
Mr. Ogden had been in great Trade, but had been broken above a year ago, and it was suspected he had been guilty of great Frauds.
It was said this Action was brought so late because the Plaintiff had a lien on a ship, which was now return’d and thereby he would get the whole of his Debt, although many of the Creditors had been glad to accept a very small proportion of their Debts.
The Plaintiff had been Mr. Ogden’s Banyan.
