An Action on the Case in which there was Plea of Non assumpsit, but no defence made by Councel.
The Evidence of the Debt was a Bengal Promissory Note, in which the Defendant promised to pay in two days with Interest at the rate of 12 per cent per Annum, if then paid, and if not paid at that day then to be paid with Interest at the rate of Eighteen per Centum per Annum.
