An Action for Assault, Trespass, and Wrongful Imprisonment, untill he extorted a Note for several thousand Rupees.
It was alledged in the Plaint that a Note for 3632 Sicca Rupees was extorted by Imprison, but this was not proved.
It was also alledged that 2432 Sicca Rupees were extorted and paid in part of this Note: but the extortion was not proved, and meerly the payment of Eighty Gold Mohurs was proved (that is 1280 S. R.) but without proof that they were extorted, and therefore this Money could not be recover’d in this Action.
