Complainants the said United Company as aforesaid under the said Francis Mure he the said Bhode Mull was therefore aforesaid if he made such affidavit he should lose such his employ under the said United Company as such affidavit would mutually Concern the interest and probably be to the prejudice of the said United Company his employers And this deponent Lallah Sobachund further saith that he never heard or understood that the said Bhode Mull ever declined to make such affidavit for any other reason whatever than as herein last aforesaid. And this deponent Lallah Sobachund further saith that he believes such last mentioned reasons to be the only reasons which prevent the said Bhode Mull from making such affidavit as he was requested by this deponent Lalla Sobachund to make as aforesaid And this deponent Lallah Sobachund also saith that he verily believes such reasons do actually prevent and intimidate the said Bhode Mull from making such affidavit in this Cause And these deponents Lallah Sobachund and Shaik Buddee ud Deen severally say that a twenty first day of October Instant they went together to the House of the said Bhode Mull in order to prevail on him the said Bhode Mull to make an affidavit to the purport hereinbefore mentioned And that the said Bhode Mull did declare to make such affidavit giving as reasons for so doing declining the same his Friendship for the said Kheemnarain and to the said Bhode Mull being afraid in case he should make such affidavit that it might be the means of his losing his aforesaid employment in the service of the said Complainants the
