For Defent No 7. Further affidavit of Delmeer Khan.
as these Deponents are informed and believe against a rule now pending for an injunction in this Honourable Court and which said affidavit the said Nauderah Begum did then and there so swear to before the said Mr. Benjamin Saunders and the said Owen John Petruse who were appointed Commissioners for such purpose as these as Deponents are informed and verily believes by virtue of a Commission issuing out and under the seal of this Honourable Court.
7. A further affidavit of the same Delmeer Khan, that his uncle was Durwan of Shahbaz Beg & he himself was a servt employ’d in all sorts of business by his mar for 7 years. Knew Zeccaria nephew, by the mother’s side of his master. Speaks, by hearsay & belief, of the 2 persian instruments & of their being Exhibits in the trial at Law, & then proceeds thus – And this Deponent further saith that he saw the said Coja Zekeriah Khan in Calcutta, about five years ago, when the said Cojah Zekeriah informed this Deponent that he the said Cojah Zekeriah intended to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca.
