Lieutenant Colonel Henry Watson.
The Plaintiff was Chokydar employ’d as a Choky or Guard in a Boat.
Some Quarrel had arisen between Men employ’d in the same boat with the Plaintiff, and Men in a boat employ’d by Colonel Watson, Colonel Watson’s Men had beat the Men who belonged to the Plaintiff’s Boat, and the Plaintiff went with the Men who were beat, to complain to Colonel Watson. Colonel Watson immediately order’d his Servants to seize him, and order’d a Coffry to flog him, and the Coffry did flog the Plaintiff in the presence of the Defendant.
