An Action by a Peon or Burcundass for his Wages. The Defendant was to be their Jemmatdar, and as it was sworn was their Master, and he was under obligation to pay their Wages.
Judgment for the Plaintiff.
There were five other Actions against the same Defendant, on the like Cases.
The Plaintiffs were admitted Paupers by my Direction, the Defendant refusing before me, to pay them what they said was due, or to submit to an Arbitration. The Defendant is in Prison in these Actions.
The fact appear’d to me to be that Golam Hossein and some Hindoo had enter’d into a Scheme, by a forged Perwannah or
