attended us on these charges in which I include that against Mr. Larkins. I think I saw Mr. Fenwick sign is name two or three times. I look at A & from my general knowledge of Mr. Fenwick’s handwriting, I believe the signature to be His.

Reexamined
I point out the original instructions to the committee signed by the Chief Secretary, Mr. Hay, (See the Exht E1.) Read. I look at a letter, dated 17 Sept. 1790. Mr. F never attended the committee previously to the receipt of this letter. I do not know of any orders for him to attend the committee before the date of that letter. In consequence of that letter we recd the instructions Exh. F, Read. While Mr. F. attended the committee, I have not the least recollection of his having offered any evidence in support of the charge against Mr. Larkins; nor of any verbal charge preferred by Mr. Fenwick against him.
