Deposition of Cojah Zaccariah.
Patna, Mr. Young, Mr. Law, and Mr. Droz, (who was then acting Chief) Mr. Young was a great Friend of the defendant Bahadur. The Plaintiff on hearing that a Complaint was made against her by the defendant Behadur Beg sent me to Mr. Droz with a Nuzzer of five Rupees that I might learn the nature of the Complaint made, I went accordingly to Mr. Droz presented my Nuzzer told him I was a nephew of the deceased and I saw Bahadur (the defendant) there but I did not perceive that any thing passed on the matter in question. About twenty or twenty five days after the death of Shah Baz Beg Khan ten Peons from the Cazy Saady (the defendant) and a Hercarrah belonging to the Chief, came in the Evening to the house of the Plaintiff, when I came to the Plaintiff’s house in the Evening I found the Peons and the Hircarrah there, I asked them why they came there, they said, that they were sent by the
