Oudenarain’s being dismissed was an acts of the Defendant’s. I do not recollect whether there were complaints against the farmers before Oudenarain was dismissed and a Sessawal was appointed. Neither in the Bengal year 1186 nor in 1187 did Oudenarain or Brijoo Roy ever complain to me, or with my knowledge to Mr. Bogle, of his having been forcibly dismissed by Hurrykissen Buckshy or Ramcaunt the Defendant. If Hurrykissen or Ramcaunt had dispossessed the Pltf I should think he would complain as of course. Brijoo roy was not on the spot. I do not recollect any complaint made on the subject of the dispossession at the farm.
