of Mr. William Johnson, who calls himself Clerk of the Crown, and sign’d the Writ as such, that a Writ of Habeas Corpus issued the third of July, and that no Return was yet made.
The Rule commanded Mr. Gardiner, commonly call’d Dr. Gardiner, as is usual here to call all the Chirurgeons Doctors, to bring Charlotte Webb into Court.
Mr. Thomas Evans, who had married Caroline Webb, the Daughter of Colonel, Webb, and the younger Sister of Charlotte Webb, prosecuted this Writ
